Dr. Jaime H. Cárcamo, Psy.D., founded the Psychological and Stress Management P.C and Hispanic Family Mental Health Center. Dr. Cárcamo is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York State with extensive experience working with immigrant populations, anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and more.
Dr. Cárcamo holds a Doctorate degree from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University and completed postdoctoral education at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University.
Dr. Cárcamo serves as an Adjunct Instructor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York.
In the aftermath of the World Trade Center attacks, Dr. Cárcamo consulted with city and private agencies, providing coping strategies and evidence-based treatment recommendations for Trauma and Stress-Related Disorders.
Dr. Cárcamo was also a Research Scientist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI) and Columbia University where he conducted research on PTSD and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) treatments.
